IELTS Speaking topics are often related to global issues. Right now, the biggest global issue is health and the coronavirus and this could be a discussion topic in a future Speaking test. social distancing measures – ways of making people stay a distance from each other
cope during lockdown – to be deal successfully with lockdown (a period of time when you are not allowed to leave your home)
struggle with isolation – to find it difficult to be separated from other people
stuck indoors – unable to leave your home
stay positive – to remain full of hope and confidence
culinary skills – skills connected with cooking
contact tracing – the process of identifying people who may have come into contact with an infected person
mandatory – demanded by law
