Using the present perfect in speaking

Are you confused about how to use the present perfect tense? Read my post Uses of the present perfect simple and then check out the video below. In the video, an Australian traveller who has been travelling the world for over 9 months is going to talk about his experiences. Notice how often he uses the present perfect — remember that we use the present perfect when we talk about situations, experiences and changes that happen over a period of time from the past to the present (in this case, a period of time that started 9 months ago and continued to the present moment).
