As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, the more you listen to natural English, the more you will improve your spoken English. In today’s post, I’m going to share a video explaining the difference between healthy food and processed/fast food. Food and health is a common topic in the IELTS Speaking test.
Whole foods vs. processed foods
As you watch the video below, try to pay attention to ‘less common’ vocabulary — using some ‘uncommon words’ will help you get a higher band according to the IELTS marking criteria. For example, the speaker says Processed foods usually have a really lengthy ingredient list (0:48). Lengthy is a less common synonym of long.
